As with all of our Personal Care Products, our 100% Plant Based Soothing Itchy-Bite Skin Balm is created through a process which is slow, gentle. We grow the Calendula & Lemon Balm organically using Biodynamic principles and practices. We hand pick the calendula flowers & Lemon Balm leaves & gently air dry them. We also source high quality, ethical and organically grown Comfrey root, Marshmallow & Chickweed. Together with our Calendula & Lemon Balm – we then then slowly solar infuse the herbs in Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil for at least 40 days to produce a rich and potent oil extract. We then simply combine this with Organically sourced Natural Plant Waxes & Natural Vitamin E.We also hand craft all of our balms in small batches to ensure minimum exposure to heat, helping protect and preserve the delicate yet powerful qualities of the natural ingredients.Every part of the process is done by us – all from the one location.Not only does the product represent our passion for the vitality and quality of the ingredients we choose – it’s freshness and minimal handling help to ensure optimum quality and preservation of the herb’s potent yet delicate active principles.
