Rose Oil encourages balance and regulation while quenching dryness and restoring suppleness. The essence of Rose is believed to reveal and connect us with the inner feminine aspects of the soul – cultivating unconditional love and opening the way for healing, compassion, integration and release.

Calendula Flowers are highly regarded for their cooling, cleansing, balancing, protective, and toning properties. They are rich in astringent flavonoids to support healthy skin structure and tone. The tonifying astringency offered by flavonoids may be gentler for some individuals who are sensitive to traditional, tannin rich, astringent extracts.

Containing the soothing and settling properties of Chamomile essential oil – energetically, Chamomile embodies the brightness, vitality and energising warmth of the sun along with the light cool and calming release of late afternoon. Chamomile has been described as cooling and circulating with a descending and grounding influence – helping the body to naturally relax and mobilise while releasing tension and stagnation.

Yarrow has a wonderful broad yet complex affinity for the skin – cooling and settling while also toning and astringing. In Traditional Spagyric understanding, Yarrow is a herb Venus exerting equilibrium and balance. Energetically, Venus represents renewal – acting at the surface and interface to cleanse what is tarnished, while bringing forward what is new and radiant.

Marshmallow Root has a wonderfully cooling, softening and moistening quality along with an incredibly diverse nutritional profile. Marshmallow root is a concentrated source of barrier supportive soluble fibres, tannins, phytosterols, and essential trace minerals.

Horsetail is a rich source of minerals, and particularly high in Silica which is an important structural component of skin and connective tissue. Energetically the affinity of horsetail can be felt at the level of interface between the inner and the outer – Not only supporting healthy structure and integrity but harmonising and helping with regulating processes of exchange and elimination.

The astringent and toning qualities of Meadowsweet are underpinned by the subtle yet potent Silica bioenergetics of this herb. The principles of Meadowsweet aim to fortify and achieve a state of balance and calm via clearing, draining, toning and re-inforcement.

Gotu Kola: With an affinity for both structure and vitality – Gotu Kola represents the quality which can be sensed as suppleness and radiance.
