Why do we charge an admin fee if you are ordering a Herbal Medicine repeat outside of a consultation?

As a small business we need to add an admin fee to all herbals that are ordered outside of a paid consultation to cover the time it takes to fulfil the legal requirements and obligations of selling a herbal medicine repeat prescription without a consultation, and to make your herbal medicine repeat – or we will not be able to be viable as a business. We thank our clients for understanding.

+ This admin fee will not apply to a herbal medicine which is ordered for yourself during a paid consultation for yourself (either during a full consultation or a 15-min repeat herbal consultation).

Before we can make you a repeat herbal outside of a consultation, we first need to:
+ find out – since you last spoke to Martin – if there have been any changes to your medical routine which could change whether your last recipe is still right and safe for you. This will involve our admin asking you a list of specific health questions – we will ask you to answer no or yes only;
+ ascertain if you do actually need to be referred to Martin for a 15-min consultation or if an exact repeat is fine;
+ If we do reach a decision that you need a 15-minute Herbal Repeat consultation with Martin, you will not be charged the Admin Fee, only the charge for the consultation and the cost of the herbal medicine.

Making a Herbal Repeat for you then involves:
+ assessing and logging your responses to the questions, referring to your past case history when making your repeat herbal, the time it takes to make your repeat herbal, updating your case history after making your repeat, admin time required to organise receiving your herbal outside of a consultation.
